Pazo de Rubianes
The "Señorío de la Casa de Rubianes" is nestled in the Ría de Arousa is. This country house has a large estate that houses a unique grove, a botanical garden and vineyards with 25 hectares of Albariño grapes.
The building has a winery, barn and stables of the XV century, these are the oldest buildings that are preserved in their original state. Today part of these roomss have been reconverted to other uses to complement the winery, such as lounge, shop and other services.
The landscaping of the "Pazo de Rubianes" begins at the end of the 17th century with the introduction of species that today have turned it into a singular garden. Especially the multiple varieties of Camelias, as well as magnolias, cedras, eucalyptus, camphor, ash, araucaria, oak, cork oak and many other species that live together in the botanical park of Pazo de Rubianes.
The visit to this ensemble can be completed with the tasting of its wines or liqueurs as well as events and gastronomic experiences that take place sometimes.
